- Acceso, portabilidad, supresión, limitación y oposición: escríbenos a soporte@futteam.com.

FUTTEAM is an amateur football app in which you have a card that evolves with your real matches. For that to work we need to store a few things about you. Here is all of it: what we store, why, who it is shared with and how you delete it.
Who is responsible for your data

What data we process and what for
| What | What for | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Email address and password (or your Google or Apple identifier if you sign in with them) | Creating your account and letting you in | Performance of the contract |
| Name, username, role, photo, alias, nationality, position, body type and dominant foot | Your profile and your card, which are visible to other users | Performance of the contract |
| Clubs, squads, matches, match events, statistics, achievements, challenges and points | The game itself: the evolution of your card, the rankings and the history | Performance of the contract |
| Date of birth | Checking that you meet the minimum age (14 years old). Only you can see it: it never appears on your profile and no other user sees it | Legal obligation (LOPDGDD) |
| WhatsApp number, if you choose to add it | Letting other users and clubs message you to arrange matches, depending on what you choose: nobody sees it, people ask and you decide, or any adult user can open it | Your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you want |
| Your location, if you give us permission | Sorting Discover by proximity and showing you how far you are from the pitch where a club plays at home, or from the place where a match or a competition is played, always rounded (at most «less than N km away»). We do not store your location on any server: your last point stays on your own phone, travels with the query so that we can sort the list, and is discarded once the results are returned to you. There is no history, and there is nothing to delete because it was never stored in the first place. Nobody ever sees where another person is: the distance is measured only between you and those places, never between users | Your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you want |
| Your device's time zone | Knowing when your day starts, for fatigue and the daily challenges. It is not shown to anyone | Performance of the contract |
| Content reports you send and your list of blocked users | Moderation: reviewing what has been reported and hiding whoever you block from you. Only you can see your list of blocked users, and the reported user does not know who reported them | Legitimate interest (keeping the app safe) |
| Your device's push notification identifier | Sending you the app's alerts | Performance of the contract |
| Daily steps, if you give us permission | A single daily challenge. We only read the day's total, never your detailed activity, and we do not share it with anyone | Your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you want |
| The status of your subscription (plan, period and renewal date) | Giving you what you have taken out | Performance of the contract |
We do not profile you and we do not sell your data, neither now nor later on. We do advertise the app, and in order to know whether an advert works the Meta SDK tells us how many people installed and opened FUTTEAM. It receives information from the phone —model, operating system, language and app version— and an anonymous identifier of its own, never your name, your email or your account. We have deliberately disabled the system advertising identifier, so you are not tracked across other apps or websites. Apart from that we do not measure you: we do not use product analytics, and the Firebase project used for the notifications was created without Analytics. The only thing we collect is the technical report when the app crashes —the error trace, the phone model and the version— so that we can fix it. That report does not carry your IP address and is not linked to your account.
Health data, kept separate
One of the daily challenges is to walk 10,000 steps. For that —and for nothing else— the app asks you for permission to read your steps from the Health app (iOS) or from Health Connect (Android). The permission is optional: if you do not give it, the app works just the same and that particular challenge simply does not count. From it:
- We store only one number per day: how many steps you took. Nothing else.
- It is not shared with third parties, it is not used for advertising and it does not leave your account.
- Where it is stored: in our database (Supabase, hosted in the European Union), associated only with your account. A row-level access rule prevents anyone else from reading it, including other users of the app.
- How long it is kept: for as long as you have the account. When you delete the account it is deleted with it automatically, with no later copy. You can also ask us to delete it without deleting your account, by writing to soporte@futteam.com.
- You can revoke the permission at any time from your phone's settings. The challenge will stop counting and nothing else happens.
- We never write to your health app: we only read.
What other users see
FUTTEAM is a social app: your profile, your card, your statistics and your clubs are public inside the app. You can mark your profile as private, and that means you do not appear in searches, in Discover or in the rankings (you will still be visible in your clubs and in the line-ups of your matches). Your email address is never shown to other users.
One detail worth knowing: when you give a «like» to a profile or a club, the person who receives it sees who it was.
The app's public images —crests, kits and card photos— are served from public addresses in our storage, as in any social network: anyone who has the exact address of an image can see it.
Your WhatsApp, only if you want
You can add your WhatsApp number in Profile › Edit profile so that rivals and clubs can message you. It is optional, and you decide who sees it:
- Hidden (default): it does not appear on your profile.
- On request: your profile shows that you have a contact, and another user can ask you for it. You accept or decline each request.
- Visible to everyone: any adult user can open your WhatsApp from your profile.
A club does not have its own number: it can have a contact, who is one of its adult members. The owner and the adult admins choose them, only among members who already have their WhatsApp active (saved and not hidden), and we notify that person when they are chosen. The club's page offers their contact with the mode they chose themselves, requests to the club reach them, and the exchange is always between people: nobody else in the club sees your number.
Requesting a contact is an exchange: if the other person accepts your request, they will also see your WhatsApp. To request one you need to have yours saved.
- The number is never shown written in the app: tapping «Open WhatsApp» opens the conversation directly, and only if you are allowed to.
- In Profile › Contacts you can see who you share it with and remove anyone's access at any time; removing it breaks the exchange, so you also stop seeing theirs. If you delete your number, everyone loses it at once.
- What happens outside FUTTEAM is no longer up to us. Removing access stops someone from opening your WhatsApp from the app, but it cannot delete the number if that person already saved it on their phone or you have already talked. Conversations happen on WhatsApp, a Meta service, and do not go through our servers.
- Only people aged 18 or over can share and see contacts. A block, in either direction, cuts everything off.
- Where it is stored: in our database (Supabase, in the European Union), in a table that only your own account can read. How long it lasts: until you delete it or delete your account.
Photos of other people
A club administrator can create «ghost members»: players from their team who do not have an account yet. If they add a photo to one, it is their responsibility to have that person's permission — the app reminds them of this and asks them to confirm it every time. If someone has uploaded a photo of you without your permission, report it from the club page or write to us at soporte@futteam.com and we will take it down.
Who the data is shared with
With the providers needed for the app to work, and with Meta in order to measure our advertising. Each of them receives only what it needs:
- Supabase — database, image storage and sessions.
- Expo, and through it Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM) — delivery of the push notifications, and downloading of the app updates.
- Resend — sending of the emails.
- RevenueCat, together with Apple and Google — subscription management. Payment is always processed by the store: we neither see nor store your card details.
- Sentry — error reports: when the app crashes, it receives the crash trace, the phone model and the version, so that we can fix it. Without your IP and without your account.
- Meta (Facebook) — measurement of our advertising: how many installs and opens each campaign generates. It receives device data and an anonymous identifier of its own, not your account. It is the only one on this list that does not work solely on our behalf.
In addition, the app makes two technical connections that do not send any data about you: the nationality flags are loaded from flagcdn.com, and the background removal of the photos downloads its tool from esm.sh — the photo is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to that service.
Some of them are outside the European Economic Area. In those cases the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have the account. When you delete it, your profile, your cards, your photos and your personal data are erased. The record of the matches already played — results, goals and events — is kept because it also belongs to the other participants and to their competitions, but it stops being associated with an identifiable person.
How we protect it
Everything that travels between your phone and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and in the database it is stored encrypted at rest. Access is controlled item by item with row-level rules: the app can only read what belongs to your account. Your steps, your date of birth and your WhatsApp number can be read only by your own account — no other user can reach them, and the number is only handed to people you have authorised, at the moment the conversation is opened. We never store your password in clear (it is handled by Supabase's authentication system) and your card details never pass through our servers at any point: they are processed by the store. Administrative access to the database is limited to the data controller.
No system is infallible. If a security breach affecting your rights ever occurred, we would notify you and the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) within the legal deadline of 72 hours.
Your rights
- Delete your account: from the app itself, in Profile › Edit profile. Before you confirm, we tell you exactly what is going to happen to your clubs and competitions.
- Correct your data: almost everything can be edited from the app.
- Delete specific data without deleting the account: your creative cards, your clubs and your photos are deleted by you from the app. For any other data, write to us.
- Access, portability, erasure, restriction and objection: write to us at soporte@futteam.com.
If you believe we have not done things properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, AEPD (aepd.es).
Minors
To use FUTTEAM you have to be at least 14 years old. We ask for the date of birth when the account is created and those of people under 14 are rejected. If we nevertheless detect an account belonging to someone younger, we delete it. Contact features (sharing or seeing a WhatsApp number) are only available from age 18.
Changes
If we change anything significant we will tell you inside the app. The date above always indicates the latest version.
